What you will do

• Write and edit the News Daily newsletter at speed, meeting publication deadlines and editorial standards.
• Work with content and planning teams to select material and support digital initiatives.
• Collaborate across the hirify.global to develop the wider newsletter portfolio around audience needs.
• Use digital analytics to test concepts, iterate content, and improve newsletter performance.
• Represent the newsletter across the newsroom and wider hirify.global.

Requirements

• Significant experience writing and editing breaking news for digital platforms.
• Strong editorial judgment and experience covering UK and international news agendas.
• Ability to make fast, independent editorial decisions under pressure and to deadline.
• Proven experience using digital analytics to develop ideas.
• Strong understanding of newsletters, audience growth, and the UK newsletter landscape.
• Eligibility to work checks are required before employment.

Nice to have

• Experience producing performance reports and sharing good practice.
• Experience with newsletter production tools and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of the UK political and cultural landscape.
• Experience mentoring journalists and curating editorial content for audience engagement.
