Trading Associate (Financial Markets)

Location: Fully on-site in Westport, CT, 5 days per week. Trading shifts may cover Asian, European, or New York market hours.

Compensation: $165,000–$190,000 annually, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. Expected base salary is 70%–80% of the wage range.

What you will do

• Execute desired exposures according to systematic, proprietary trading processes.
• Analyze market microstructure, liquidity, transaction costs, market participants, and traded products.
• Develop and evaluate ideas for improving trading decisions and execution strategies.
• Collaborate with technologists, researchers, and analytics teams to build or overhaul implementation systems and monitor execution outcomes.
• Improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of owned systems and processes, including automation and analysis.
• Maintain relationships with liquidity providers and external vendors.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from an accredited undergraduate institution, or expected graduation in 2025–2026.
• Strong analytical, logical, and structured thinking.
• Excellent communication skills with counterparties and colleagues.
• Interest in financial markets, market structure, and game theory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Willingness to work nontraditional hours covering Asian and European markets and to work fully on-site in Westport, CT.
