What you will do

• Support daily manufacturing, functional testing, tooling, fixtures, and production-floor activities.
• Lead process improvement, root-cause investigation, corrective and preventive action, cost-reduction, capital investment, and product release projects.
• Support new product introduction, process definition, process development, validation, and documentation.
• Provide Development Engineering support through manufacturing requirements, DFM/DFMA, design reviews, BOM structuring, and documentation review.
• Train production personnel and provide technical support to purchasing and materials teams.
• Manage weekly reviews of manufacturing and quality data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of direct production-floor support experience in an electro-mechanical assembly and functional test environment.
• Working knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly, functional testing, HASS, molding, machining, and related manufacturing processes.
• Experience with project management, product structures, BOMs, MRP systems, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of pFMEA, validation, operations documentation, CAD, and common PC applications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000; experience with FDA QSR documentation is beneficial.

Nice to have

• BSEE degree.
• 1+ year of experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or automation.
