Manager, Security Operations Center (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote US

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 base annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define, implement, and enforce processes, workflows, playbooks, and operating standards for Security Operations Center performance.
• Manage local and global shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operations throughout the year.
• Lead analysts through weekly one-to-ones, feedback, training, and career development.
• Partner with Product, Support, Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams to improve workflows and operational capabilities.
• Maintain regional quality assurance, track objectives and key results, and report on Security Operations Center initiatives.
• Help operationalize new technologies and services and participate in webinars and in-person public speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering.
• At least 5 years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24/7 Security Operations Center, with a focus on Windows forensics.
• At least 2 years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role; MSSP, MDR, or Incident Response service experience is preferred.
• Experience creating detailed process diagrams and operating procedures, delegating work, and maintaining accountability for initiatives.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
• Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts and a commitment to staying current with threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations.

Nice to have

• Experience within an MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service.
• Active participation in the information security community through conferences or public projects and discussions.
