Senior Data Scientist (AI)

SOCOTEC Vietnam provides technical support and expert services for testing, inspection, and certification projects in construction and infrastructure as part of the SOCOTEC Group.

What you will do

• Lead industrial AI projects for SOCOTEC business lines and clients.
• Develop advanced algorithms for computer vision, NLP, generative AI, machine learning, and digital twins.
• Conduct innovative industrial and R&D projects from concept through delivery.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for AI solutions supporting inspection and technical advisory services.
• Mentor junior teams and facilitate the SOCOTEC Group data and AI expert community.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent in artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of data science experience with advanced expertise in generative AI and machine learning.
• At least 4 years of practical experience in AI or GenAI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and model-building skills.
• Ability to lead industrial and R&D projects end to end with a hands-on technical leadership profile.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the construction or infrastructure sector.
