What you will do

• Develop and implement complex machine learning/statistics models (supervised/unsupervised), econometrics, forecasting, and quantitative diagnostics.
• Design and implement operational research solutions, including optimization under constraints and simulation models.
• Apply algorithmic knowledge to process large volumes of unstructured data (big data).
• Manage end-to-end projects with regular reporting to the manager and the client to ensure commitments are met.
• Build and manage client relationships with middle-management stakeholders as a recognized subject-matter expert.
• Supervise consultants (juniors to confirmed) as a referent, validating deliverables and supporting skills development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, econometrics, (bio-)statistics, operations research) and at least 3 years of relevant data science experience.
• Excellent statistics and quantitative analysis skills, including theoretical and practical understanding of models.
• Strong programming in Python and solid scripting/compiled language foundation (R, Matlab, JavaScript, bash, C++, Java) and/or experience with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Professional level Dutch and English essential; German is required to be considered a plus.
• Must be able to work without a work permit provided for this position.
• Ability to take responsibility for high added-value missions and work effectively in a team.
