Senior Data Science Consultant (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work from home, at customer sites, or from the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Develop explanatory and predictive decision-support models using supervised and unsupervised learning, econometrics, forecasting, and quantitative diagnosis.
• Design and implement constrained optimization solutions and simulation models.
• Apply algorithms to process large volumes of unstructured data.
• Manage end-to-end client projects, including reporting, deliverables, and commitment tracking.
• Build client relationships, develop commercial proposals, and identify new collaboration opportunities.
• Supervise consultants and support their technical and professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as computer science, econometrics, biostatistics, or operations research.
• At least 3 years of relevant data science experience.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis.
• Advanced Python programming skills and a solid foundation in R, MATLAB, JavaScript, Bash, C++, Java, and/or Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, analytical thinking, teamwork, and client-facing responsibility.
• Professional-level Dutch and English are essential; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.

• Professional proficiency in German.
