EZ Street Gaming is an independent game studio focused on creating original, ambitious games with strong identities and memorable gameplay experiences. We are an early-stage studio building our first major project, Project R , with a small, focused development team. We're looking for talented people who want to have a meaningful impact on a game from its earliest stages rather than joining an established production where their role is narrowly defined. What are your main projects? Our current project is Project R , a horror adventure open-world looter shooter being developed in Unreal Engine 5 for PC and console. We're keeping the game's world and story details intentionally private at this stage, but the core experience revolves around exploration, combat, progression, discovery, and collecting increasingly powerful gear while uncovering the world and its dangers. What makes you stand out from other companies? We're building with a small team and a clear creative vision. Early team members will have a direct influence on the game's technology, gameplay systems, and development standards. We aren't interested in creating a massive bureaucracy. Programmers will work closely with design and technical leadership and will have room to contribute ideas, challenge decisions, and help shape systems rather than simply implementing tickets. Why is your company stable? If a candidate takes the risk, how will it pay off? We're upfront that EZ Street Gaming is an independent studio and that Project R is an early-stage project. We're not going to pretend we're a large established publisher. The tradeoff is opportunity. Joining at this stage means having a level of ownership and influence that is difficult to find at larger studios. You'll be helping establish the foundations of a new IP, technology stack, and development culture from the beginning. Our approach is to grow deliberately, prove the core game first, and expand production as the project demonstrates its potential. What unique approaches/work methods do you use? We believe in small teams, direct communication, and strong individual ownership. Gameplay programmers will work directly with the Senior Technical Lead and Creative Director. We want engineers who can think beyond implementation and actively contribute to how the game plays. We also prioritize getting gameplay into players' hands early. Rather than spending years building content before validating the experience, we'll establish the core gameplay loop first and build outward from there. Company or product plans? Our immediate goal is to build a strong playable foundation for Project R, establish the core technology and gameplay systems, and develop a vertical slice that demonstrates the game's potential. From there, we plan to expand the world, combat, enemies, weapons, loot, progression, exploration, and other systems into a full-scale experience. Long term, EZ Street Gaming aims to build and own its original IP and games , growing from a focused independent team into a sustainable game studio.

We don't expect everyone to agree on everything; healthy debate is part of creating a better game. We also value ownership over ego. If something isn't working, we want the team to focus on solving the problem rather than finding someone to blame. Because we're a small team, everyone has an impact. We expect team members to respect each other's expertise, communicate openly, help one another when needed, and take pride in the quality of what they build. Most importantly, we want people who genuinely want to make the game better.
