Lead Software Engineer (Optimizely)

Location

Must be based in Poland (Katowice or Poznań). This is a hybrid role requiring office attendance an average of four days a week.

What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery and architecture of Optimizely DXP solutions for global clients.
• Facilitate client-facing workshops to translate business goals into actionable technical requirements.
• Guide engineering team members through implementation tasks and conduct code reviews.
• Spend approximately 20–30% of time coding directly while providing technical leadership.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery supported by automated testing and reliable CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate work, plan delivery, and manage technical dependencies.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be available until 18:00 PL time to collaborate with the UK project team.
• In-depth experience with Optimizely DXP, including deployment, configuration, and environment management.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience providing technical leadership or managing a team of at least five members.
• Broad knowledge of web technologies and full-lifecycle software delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Optimizely Commerce, Content Marketing Platform, or Opal AI.
• Experience designing headless or composable solutions using Optimizely Content Graph.
• Cloud-native development experience with Azure or AWS.
• Relevant Optimizely certifications.
