What you will do

• Own the 5-star quality and product excellence standard across the full new product development portfolio.
• Lead EB0 build reviews and scale Pre-MP VEGA Hack sessions to identify and resolve quality and consumer experience issues before mass production.
• Direct predictive modeling of in-market product ratings using consumer validation, IHUT, lessons-learned, and market data.
• Oversee safety testing, regulatory compliance, certification delivery, and coordination with engineering and external test laboratories.
• Govern DFMEA quality and completeness before TRA, tracking mitigation actions through closure.
• Build, mentor, and manage quality and product excellence managers and analysts while representing the function in executive forums.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product quality, product development, engineering, or consumer insights, ideally in consumer electronics or home appliances.
• Deep working knowledge of DFMEA methodology and experience raising DFMEA standards across an organization.
• Experience with safety testing, regulatory standards, and certification processes in at least one major market, such as the US, EU, or UK.
• Strong analytical and data-literacy skills, including IHUT data and translating findings into engineering recommendations.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing multiple NPD programs at portfolio scale.
• Demonstrated experience hiring, developing, and managing managers or individual contributors.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling VEGA Hack sessions or comparable pre-production quality events.
• Experience developing predictive quality models from consumer research or IHUT data.
• Claims development and substantiation experience involving testing, legal, and marketing.
• Multi-market regulatory knowledge and experience presenting quality functions in executive forums.
