Central Market (Dallas) Scratch Bread Baker - Part time - Overnight Availability

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; onsite. Availability must include overnight shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

What you will do

• Mix, shape, bake, wrap, price, sell, and stock bread and other products.
• Execute daily production lists and maintain product quality before items reach the sales floor.
• Maintain sanitation and organization across storage, freezer, walk-in, and production areas.
• Order and receive products and supplies, maintain transfer records, and monitor shrink.
• Prepare customer samples, answer ingredient questions, take phone orders, and provide customer service.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Commercial production experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and inform customers about ingredients.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and perform bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
