SAP FI CO Consultant with German (SAP FI/CO)

What you will do

• Maintain, support, and further develop the existing SAP FI/CO ERP landscape, with a primary focus on SAP FI.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Perform SAP FI/CO customizing and configuration, including integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Resolve functional issues and handle incidents, service requests, and change requests in an application management environment.
• Support financial processes covering GL, AP, AR, payments, invoice processing, ISO 20022 topics, workflows, data imports, subsidiaries, and company codes.
• Contribute to data migration, LSMW, New GL, Business Partner integration, and preparation for a future SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant, SAP FI Consultant, or in a comparable SAP Application Management role.
• Strong SAP FI knowledge, including several of GL, AP, AR, payments, and financial accounting processes.
• Practical experience with SAP FI customizing and configuration, SAP ERP/ECC, incident analysis, troubleshooting, and change requests.
• Knowledge of data migration and data import processes, ideally including LSMW, plus understanding of New GL and cross-functional SAP integrations.
• Experience with highly regulated industries such as banking, financial services, or insurance.
• German language skills at B2–C1 level are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Business Partner concepts, ISO 20022, payment processes, workflows, or invoice-related processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, migrations, or transformation projects.
