Finance Assistant (MedTech)

What you will do

• Prepare backlog orders reports and review, release, and report on customer orders placed on hold.
• Process and allocate accounts receivable receipts, supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and weekly supplier payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciling items with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Assist with BAS preparation, including GST and PAYG withholding data, as well as month-end activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Respond to supplier and employee queries regarding invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Support finance projects, process improvements, ad-hoc analysis, and compliance with internal controls and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payments, and expense processing.
• Ability to review financial documentation, approvals, and compliance forms accurately.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Ability to follow company policies, financial procedures, internal controls, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Full-time availability in St. Leonards, Australia.
