TL;DR
Head of AI Enablement (AI strategy and platforms): Scaling safe, effective AI use across the organisation and public-sector product portfolio with an accent on enterprise strategy, central tooling, governance, and measurable business value. Focus on building AI engineering capability, taking pilots into production, leading adoption and training, and optimising spend on tools, models, and compute.
Location: Hybrid, United Kingdom; office-based 50% in Bracknell, Hemel Hempstead or Chippenham. Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.

What you will do
- Own the enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and value tracking.
- Build and lead a central AI team with shared platforms, tools, and support.
- Enable product and business teams to design, build, scale, and adopt AI solutions.
- Embed AI-enabled features into product roadmaps and internal processes.
- Define practical AI standards and guardrails with security, data protection, and ethics stakeholders.
- Lead pilots, production rollouts, training, AI champion networks, and cost optimisation for tools, models, and compute.
Requirements
- Experience leading AI or advanced technology teams.
- Experience delivering AI solutions from concept through production.
- Experience working with platforms and product teams.
- Strong understanding of applied AI and machine learning, including integrating AI into products or systems.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence is required.
