What you will do

• Originate reinsurance and funding agreement opportunities across Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea.
• Develop product ideas, client-ready materials, and market thought leadership for the APAC platform.
• Lead pricing, structuring, and feasibility analysis while coordinating actuarial, investment, legal, tax, finance, risk, and operations stakeholders.
• Execute selected transactions from agreed structure through negotiation, documentation, closing, onboarding, and operational handoff.
• Maintain transaction execution roadmaps, coordinate the deal pipeline, and support timely internal decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional diligence, including product review, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and investment/ALM alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Actuarial background such as FSA, FIA, ASA, or equivalent quantitative finance expertise.
• At least 7 years of experience in life insurance, reinsurance, or investment banking focused on financial services and insurance.
• Demonstrated expertise in transaction structuring and execution, including contract or treaty negotiation, diligence, and operationalization.
• Ability to collaborate across hirify.global and Apollo teams, including investments, legal, finance, actuarial, risk, and operations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with asset-intensive reinsurance and funding agreement products, including funding agreement-backed notes.
