Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid
Salary: 270,000–406,000 PLN per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and operation of scalable shared frontend infrastructure for a cloud-native platform processing petabytes of data weekly.
- Set technical direction for frontend architecture, shared frameworks, design-system integration, and Micro Frontend strategies.
- Collaborate with Staff and Principal Engineers, product partners, UX, and engineering leadership on system design and delivery.
- Mentor engineers, establish engineering standards, and guide design reviews, code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
- Own reliability practices, including observability, on-call operations, incident response, root cause analysis, and CI/CD evolution.
- Lead work on accessibility, performance optimization, automated testing, component versioning, documentation, and AI-enhanced UI/UX.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional frontend development experience and 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Advanced JavaScript, TypeScript, and React skills, including shared design systems and Micro Frontend or modular UI architecture.
- Experience designing and operating distributed, multi-tenant, cloud-native systems.
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, modern CSS, SASS/LESS, responsive design, WCAG accessibility, performance profiling, and cross-browser testing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, bundlers such as Vite or Webpack, unit/integration/end-to-end testing, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with observability, service reliability, technical direction, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- People-lead or technical-lead experience in regulated or large-scale environments.
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Experience with .NET, Node, Python, Figma, UX principles, or design-system governance.
- Experience with AI-driven UI/UX, including chatbots, recommendation engines, personalization, or adaptive layouts.
