Senior IT Auditor

Location: Onsite at the corporate headquarters in Tarrytown, New York, United States; conditions also reference Sleepy Hollow, New York

Salary: $93,900–$153,300 annually

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and report on operational IT audits covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, data management, SDLC, change management, and IT operations.
• Perform IT SOX control walkthroughs and testing and prepare supporting documentation.
• Assess cybersecurity controls across identity and access management, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring, incident response, and security governance.
• Review controls for AWS, Azure, SaaS platforms, data lakes, and analytics environments.
• Design data analytics-driven audit procedures using Dataiku or equivalent tools and apply automation and continuous auditing techniques.
• Communicate audit status, control deficiencies, root causes, technology risks, and actionable recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3–4 years of progressive experience in IT audit, information security, or technology risk.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and automated controls.
• Strong understanding of SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST, GxP, GDPR, and other governance frameworks.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Dataiku or Alteryx and with auditing infrastructure, cybersecurity risks and controls, and operating systems.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an onsite role in New York.

Nice to have

• CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP certification.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Big Four or public accounting experience.
• Experience with AI concepts, model governance, data quality, access controls, ethical use, and AI-enabled processes.
