Platform SW/FW Engineer, Advanced

What you will do

• Define the architectural vision for Linux-based smart camera platforms.
• Design robust and secure platform management services in modern C++.
• Lead platform bring-up initiatives, including custom Yocto layers and BSP architectures.
• Architect NPU infrastructure for real-time, hardware-accelerated image and video processing.
• Promote agentic AI coding methodologies to improve implementation efficiency and code quality.
• Investigate complex hardware/software boundary issues using schematics, logic analyzers, debug probes, and oscilloscopes.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Linux internals, including the kernel, bootloaders, system-level management, systemd services, and resource optimization.
• Extensive experience designing high-performance, concurrent, and modular systems with modern C++.
• Proven ability to solve complex system and hardware integration challenges under tight performance constraints.
• Strong self-direction, a builder mindset, and experience setting engineering standards and mentoring senior engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting NPU, GPU, or DSP pipelines for edge image processing or computer vision.
• Deep expertise with the Yocto Project, including complex recipes, layers, and customized distributions.
• Strong electrical engineering background and experience with hardware design reviews and hardware-level debugging.
