Associate Engineer (Robotics): Supporting the development, maintenance, and testing of robotic systems and software with an accent on hardware/software integration and system configuration. What you will do
- Develop and maintain software and information system components for robotic systems.
- Configure hardware, software, networks, and system settings.
- Analyze and resolve technical incidents and software bugs.
- Develop and execute unit tests and verify product reliability through systematic testing.
- Build and validate prototypes in laboratory and field test environments.
- Provide technical support and training to users and customers.
Requirements
- Current student in Robotics.
- Programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of MAVLink protocol and communication protocols (UART, UDP, TCP, I2C).
- Familiarity with MAVSDK or PyMAVLink, ROS/ROS2, and Linux (Ubuntu).
- Basic knowledge of electronics, microcontrollers, and soldering.
- Must be located in Poland and able to commute to Katowice.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PX4 Autopilot, ArduPilot, QGroundControl, or Mission Planner.
- Experience with simulation environments like Gazebo or jMAVSim.
- Understanding of SITL configuration and mobile robot kinematics.
