Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship platform features from architecture through production.
• Own components end-to-end, including performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Work with product managers, security researchers, and engineers to turn complex problems into shippable products.
• Integrate LLMs and AI agents into the product where they deliver user value.
• Drive the use of Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot in daily development workflows.
• Improve code quality and review practices, make technical decisions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong foundations in software design, data structures, and system architecture.
• Experience designing, building, and shipping features end-to-end.
• Production experience developing and integrating AI capabilities, including LLMs, AI agents, or ML pipelines.
• Ability to work across the stack and learn new technologies quickly.
• Advanced practical proficiency with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.

Nice to have

• Background in cybersecurity, offensive security, or infrastructure-heavy products.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Open-source contributions or technical writing.
