Senior Strategic Procurement Specialist

Location: Hybrid work, on-site in Mieres, Asturias, Spain, with partial remote work

What you will do

• Develop and manage international supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance evaluation, and long-term partnership building.
• Lead strategic sourcing decisions based on market trends and analytical insights.
• Coordinate teams and collaborate across a matrix structure, sharing procurement best practices within the group.
• Work with engineering and production teams to align internal requirements with market offerings.
• Prepare purchasing reports and analyze budgets and spend.
• Support supplier quality processes, including corrective actions and audits.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, ideally in technical or industrial environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating teams and collaborating across a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to work autonomously in demanding environments.
• English at B2/C1 minimum level is required for international supplier and team interaction.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate training in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
