Firmware Engineer (Embedded C++)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C++ for bare-metal ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Maintain and further develop the embedded software toolchain.
• Optimize code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
• Write and execute unit and hardware-in-the-loop system tests.
• Debug software and hardware issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Define system requirements with product management, project leads, and hardware teams while ensuring coding, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience with low-level embedded systems programming.
• Proficiency in embedded C++ and good knowledge of Python.
• Fluent English and Hungarian are required.
• Self-motivated, proactive, reliable, responsible, and able to take accountability.
