Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hyderabad, India; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead SRE initiatives across multiple product areas and guide the strategic use of Microsoft Azure.
• Architect scalable, secure, and automated solutions for client onboarding and live operations.
• Design and evolve observability, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Govern Azure implementation patterns for standardization, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, postmortems, and reliability retrospectives.
• Advise engineering and product leaders, mentor senior engineers, and represent SRE in planning and technical due diligence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, cloud infrastructure, or platform architecture.
• Extensive Microsoft Azure expertise covering architecture, deployment, automation, and cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architectures, distributed systems, networking, and security.
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, and related tooling.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Application Insights, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, APIs, and scripting.
• Experience with ITIL processes, large-scale incident management, stakeholder influence, and mentoring in regulated or security-conscious environments.
