Director of DevOps, SRE & Infrastructure (Azure)

What you will do

• Define the DevOps and platform engineering vision across CI/CD, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and safe deployment practices.
• Champion SRE practices including service-level objectives, error budgets, incident management, and reliability engineering.
• Architect and evolve Microsoft Azure infrastructure for scale, resilience, and performance.
• Build observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Partner with Security and Engineering to maintain a safe and compliant platform.
• Own disaster recovery and Azure FinOps initiatives while inspiring and developing the engineering team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams.
• Hands-on Azure expertise, including AKS, App Services, Cosmos DB, Front Door, and Key Vault.
• Strong Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with incident management, chaos engineering, security practices, Entra ID, Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, and secrets management.
• Experience operating large-scale, mission-critical SaaS on Azure, with observability experience using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Elastic.
