Sustainment IPS Specialist (Logistics)

Location: On-site at Peterson Space Force Base, Product Support Facility, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; travel less than 20%; standard working hours.

Salary: $94,000–$117,000 per year in Colorado Springs.

What you will do

• Execute the Product Support Strategy and integrated product support activities across the Department of War’s 12 Product Support Elements.
• Support acquisition, transition, fielding, and sustainment of military and commercial SATCOM and NC3 systems, including the Air Force/Army Antijam Modem.
• Develop and maintain logistics products and processes, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Logistics Health Assessments, Depot Source of Repair documentation, and Depot Maintenance Activation Plans.
• Plan and execute depot activation, provisioning, logistics supportability analysis, demand planning, sparing determinations, and fielding activities.
• Facilitate logistics and product support working groups, track actions to closure, and maintain schedules, milestones, minutes, and critical events.
• Support Transition to Operations activities, assess sustainment maturity for IOC declaration, and deliver briefings and presentations.

Requirements

• Active DoW SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of logistics experience in a Government Program Office or industry supporting a government program.
• Experience planning and executing depot activation and authoring logistics products, including an LCSP.
• Experience with government program acquisition transition to sustainment and multiple DoW Product Support Elements.
• Knowledge of USAF logistics systems, technical orders, provisioning, cataloging, GEIA-STD-0007 supportability analysis, and sparing analysis; proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI clearance and a master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• DoD SATCOM ACAT I/II acquisition and sustainment life cycle management experience.
• DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics certification at Advanced or Level III.
• Experience with reliability, availability, maintainability, life cycle cost, product support, funding, contract documentation, and technical proposal evaluations.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
