What you will do

• Design, build, and apply mechanistic, multiscale QSP models for neurology programs.
• Align modeling and simulation needs with project teams and develop QSP strategies.
• Integrate and interpret heterogeneous preclinical and clinical datasets for model development and refinement.
• Communicate modeling predictions and quantitative insights to scientific and nonscientific stakeholders.
• Support model-informed go/no-go decisions, regulatory expectations, abstracts, and manuscripts.
• Lead modeling workstreams independently and mentor junior scientists.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Biology, Systems Pharmacology, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of hands-on QSP modeling experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Demonstrated experience using QSP models to influence R&D decisions and competitive differentiation.
• Programming experience with Matlab, R, or Julia; Matlab is preferred.
• Experience with disease biology, multiple programs or drug modalities, and heterogeneous preclinical and clinical datasets.
• Proven ability to lead scientific projects, communicate quantitative insights, and mentor junior scientists.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of neurology, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration.
• Exposure to regulatory interactions or documentation involving modeling and simulation.
