TL;DR
Sr. DevSecOps Engineer (Cloud, CI/CD, and Application Security): Designing and developing build and deployment automation solutions for enterprise applications with an accent on cloud infrastructure, secure delivery pipelines, and high-quality software engineering. Focus on architecture design, coding standards, code reviews, mentoring developers, and integrating application security and AI-assisted development tools.
Location: Onsite at the Brampton or Toronto office, Canada

What you will do
- Lead solution designs, document architectures, and create high-level design documents.
- Design and develop automation for application build and deployment.
- Enhance and maintain existing DevSecOps solutions using engineering best practices.
- Define and promote coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers on architecture and coding practices.
- Collaborate with Enterprise DevOps, Cyber Security, Cloud Infrastructure, application, support, business, and development teams.
- Document development activities and participate in peer reviews for code and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure and solution design concepts across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Java or Python, with proficiency in at least one.
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems, specifically RHEL, including scripting.
- Working knowledge of Groovy for pipeline scripting and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ADO, or Jenkins.
- Experience with GitHub source control, branching and release concepts, and application security and code quality tools such as SonarQube and Xray.
- Must work onsite at a corporate office in Canada; a Canadian criminal record check is required.
