Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations (Shift:2PM-11PM)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

What you will do

• Process client transactions, book corporate actions, and verify accurate security pricing.
• Review portfolio pricing for equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
• Operate and oversee reconciliation and NAV review technology for cash, positions, profit and loss, dividend, and interest reconciliations.
• Perform gross asset value reviews and investigate and resolve breaks with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties.
• Act as a primary contact for at least one client, respond to queries, and maintain service-level agreements.
• Support client onboarding, projects, process improvements, and operational change.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education.
• At least 2 years of experience in investor services or asset management.
• Understanding of securities including equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
• Experience with reconciliation technology, a portfolio management system, or an investment accounting general ledger.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions such as TEXT, LOOKUP, and MATH.
• Microsoft Office knowledge; intermediate VBA, SQL, or other programming knowledge is advantageous.
