PLM/Configuration and Documentation Control Manager (IoT Hardware)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; on-site. Occasional travel to suppliers and production sites may be required.

What you will do

• Own the health and administration of the Arena PLM deployment, including configuration, lifecycles, revisions, roles, permissions, supplier access, onboarding, training, and data quality.
• Maintain a weekly forward BOM plan for Supply Chain covering upcoming changes, validation status, implementation timing, supply risk, and build impact.
• Maintain reliable Onshape-to-Arena and Altium-to-Arena traceability and publish released documents to Google Workspace as read-only, versioned copies.
• Maintain controlled records for BOMs, part numbers, revisions, lifecycles, validation, waivers, deviations, supplier documents, and forward planning.
• Build registers for changes in progress, document currency, missing or overdue records, supplier-document status, waivers, and forward BOM planning.
• Define release-boundary conventions with Engineering and Quality and provide status reporting that supports fact-based decisions.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, judgement, and persistent but constructive follow-up.
• Hands-on experience administering PLM, ERP, QMS, document-control, technical-records, clinical-data, aviation-records, library/information-management, or another structured, high-consequence records environment.
• Technical literacy covering BOMs, revisions, HPN/MPN, traceability, validation status, controlled documents, waivers/deviations, and clear-to-build planning.
• Strong written communication and the ability to work credibly with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
• Availability to work on-site in Auckland, New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Arena PLM experience.
• Experience with supplier onboarding, document-control setup, audit/readiness work, or production issue investigation.
