What you will do
- Own customer tariffs and rate management in CargoWise.
- Develop pricing strategies focused on yield and profitability.
- Analyze market conditions, pricing opportunities, risks, and trade performance.
- Partner with Sales on tenders, customer proposals, presentations, and new business opportunities.
- Lead customer pricing discussions and negotiations when required.
- Work with Customer Experience, regional offices, and Pacific agents on integrated supply chain solutions and commercial performance reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics in a similar role.
- Experience in commercial pricing, trade management, or sales management.
- Experience developing pricing strategies and managing customer tariffs.
- Strong analytical skills, intermediate Excel capability, and the ability to interpret commercial data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including relationship-building across diverse Pacific teams and cultures.
- Right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. A Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test may be required.
