Junior Animator

What you will do

• Animate shots using the 12 Principles of Animation, with strong timing, posing, and character performance.
• Compose and animate cameras using basic photography and cinematography principles.
• Follow established animation pipelines and workflows while maintaining clean scenes and organized keys and curves.
• Meet weekly quotas and revise work based on feedback from directors and supervisors.
• Participate in dailies, weeklies, and team discussions, communicating regularly with leads and supervisors.
• Develop speed, efficiency, and animation quality while seeking guidance from senior artists and mentors.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an animation production environment or a relevant academic or training program.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Maya or other industry-standard 3D animation software.
• Understanding of animation fundamentals and an interest in performance-based character animation.
• Ability to receive feedback and learn in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
