Senior Site Reliability Engineer (FedRAMP)

Location: Remote, U.S. U.S. citizenship is required; some government work must be performed on U.S. territory. The role includes an on-call rotation with weekend shifts.

Starting base compensation: $140,000–$185,000 per year in the United States.

What you will do

• Own hirify.global Gov cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Design and build infrastructure across multiple public cloud providers and regions.
• Implement monitoring, observability, early-warning, and alerting systems.
• Respond to infrastructure outages and contribute to 24x7 incident management and escalation processes.
• Develop operational procedures, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage vulnerabilities and security remediations in a FedRAMP-compliant environment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required; certain government work must be conducted on U.S. territory.
• At least 5 years of FedRAMP Moderate or High experience, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Production experience with incident response and on-call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management, including CNI and Istio.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP multi-region deployments and production Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitOps, Terraform or Pulumi, and at least one programming language such as C#, Python, or Go.

Nice to have

• Distributed monitoring or data engineering experience.
• Startup, open-source, or SaaS experience.
