TL;DR
Backend Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Building and operating scalable backend services for Delinea’s Azure and Kubernetes-based identity security platform with an accent on secure cloud integrations, microservices, and platform self-service. Focus on designing event-driven architectures, implementing infrastructure as code and CI/CD, diagnosing cross-service issues, and integrating AI systems through MCP or similar frameworks.

What you will do
- Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services with C#/.NET on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Develop secure methods for platform services to connect with multiple cloud service providers.
- Build self-service tools that improve platform supportability and enable other service teams.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures across microservices.
- Own end-to-end delivery, including Terraform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and platform teams through code and design reviews while using AI coding agents in the development workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET and microservices architectures.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience with technologies including Cosmos, SQL Server, ADX, Angular, TypeScript, Go, Python, and Terraform.
- Ability to diagnose complex cross-service issues using telemetry tools such as Datadog RUM.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, cloud security, identity management, privileged access control, and AI/ML integrations using MCP or similar frameworks; demonstrated ability to lead and mentor.
Nice to have
- Experience with application registration, API keys, SPIFFE, or Workload Identity Federation.
- Experience with SaaS products running in cloud environments such as Azure.
- Knowledge of observability frameworks including Datadog RUM and Grafana.
- Experience in AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, data compliance management, Agile development, or continuous delivery.
