Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Coordinate and market new and renewal business with local, regional, and national insurance carriers.
• Prepare submissions, proposals, and presentations with the Producer, ensuring accurate coverage, terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Service commercial accounts by processing endorsements, audits, invoices, policy checks, and pre-renewal updates.
• Provide backup support for certificates and claims and assist CSRs with complex client service issues.
• Review client operations, exposures, and loss experience to support account management and coverage decisions.
• Maintain account data in AMS360 and Image Right and uphold professional and ethical service standards.

Requirements

• Property and Casualty License issued by the State of Michigan.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong client management skills and knowledge of business operations, exposures, and loss experience.
• Professional telephone manner and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of AMS360 and Image Right.
