Marketing Data Science Manager (AI)

Location: Remote Canada

Hiring range: $149,000–$220,000 CAD annually, depending on Canada location tier.

What you will do

• Set the strategy and roadmap for Marketing Data Science, prioritizing high-impact opportunities with key partners.
• Define measurement approaches for attribution, ROI, and campaign performance to improve marketing investment and outcomes.
• Lead capabilities in performance marketing, including budget optimization, causal lift measurement, and conversion-signal testing.
• Develop brand marketing measurement, retention and LTV models, audience segmentation, dashboards, reporting, scalable data models, and internal tools.
• Provide strategic perspective on advertising, media innovation, and marketing analytics methods.
• Partner with Data Science leaders to evaluate and responsibly adopt emerging AI tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of marketing data science experience, ideally in a media agency or in-house marketing organization.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and advertising platforms.
• Knowledge of MMM, causal lift or synthetic control, saturation modeling, optimization, and Bayesian approaches.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing talent.
• Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, storytelling, and communication skills.
