Environmental Engineer Co Op/Intern - All Mills

Location: Counce, TN; Deridder, LA; Filer City, MI; International Falls, MN; Jackson, AL; Massillon, OH; Riverville, VA; Tomahawk, WI; Valdosta, GA; or Wallula, WA. Must be a permanent U.S. resident.

Salary: $25–$30 per hour

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples from wastewater, stormwater, and mill process areas.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and create or update standard operating procedures.
• Maintain environmental records, daily emissions data, and regulatory compliance reports.
• Support projects involving wastewater treatment, landfill operations, residuals management, and regulatory compliance.
• Use environmental and production data systems to identify trends and improve compliance management.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers and mill personnel to support safe and environmentally compliant operations.

Requirements

• Permanent U.S. residency and a valid driver's license are required.
• Majoring in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have completed or be completing the freshman year at the time of the co-op or internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
