What you will do
- Execute cash management activities with company banks under local and corporate Treasury direction.
- Process selected manual payments and oversee the accuracy of Accounts Payable balances in the general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries for inventory, reserves, accounts payable, accruals, prepaid assets, and other balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support the financial close process for the Mexico City business.
- Execute internal controls and SOX requirements while maintaining accurate and timely close deliverables.
- Collaborate with the local Controllership team and corporate Treasury department.
Requirements
- College degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Three or more years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including structuring and analyzing large datasets and writing formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High ethical standards, integrity, accountability, and receptiveness to feedback.
- CPA or similar designation is preferred but not required.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
- CPA or similar accounting designation.
