Software Engineer, Enterprise Integrations (AI)

Location: Hybrid; available location is Austin, Texas, United States. An in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub may be required at the offer stage.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain integration workflows between hirify.global and SaaS applications.
• Identify opportunities to use LLMs, agents, and automation to improve integration design, delivery speed, and operational support.
• Build internal AI tooling, including agents, skills, MCP servers, and automation scripts.
• Translate business problems from internal stakeholders into secure technical solutions.
• Help evaluate, adopt, and govern AI tooling, including data handling, model selection, skills, and guardrails.
• Progress toward owning and leading integration, UI, MCP, and AI-tooling initiatives end to end.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in a backend language; Go is strongly preferred, with Python or TypeScript also considered.
• Experience building real AI/LLM solutions, integration or automation systems, and RESTful APIs with appropriate security practices.
• Experience with observability tooling, containerized or cloud environments, serverless platforms, and CI/CD tooling.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with 10 or more engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, evaluations, or AI governance and guardrails.
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, PostgreSQL, hirify.global Developer Platform, or enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Agile Scrum, Jira, or Confluence.
