Paralegal, Capital Markets (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support attorneys with documentation for structured finance transactions, including securitizations, warehouse facilities, and forward flows.
• Manage transaction checklists, closing deliverables, and electronic transaction binders.
• Draft resolutions, certificates, and other corporate governance documents.
• Maintain AI-assisted trackers for transaction terms, reporting obligations, covenants, and compliance requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements for the Capital Markets Legal function.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, attorneys, business partners, and external counsel.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paralegal experience in a medium to large law firm, or 4 years in an in-house corporate legal department.
• Exposure to capital markets, structured finance, or financial services is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of capital markets and corporate governance processes.
• Strong organizational, project management, research, drafting, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, use project and knowledge management tools including AI tools, and maintain high attention to detail.
