Web Content CMS Specialist (Optimizely)

What you will do

• Build and maintain website pages in the Optimizely CMS using approved content, wireframes, designs, and reusable components.
• Select and configure CMS components to create effective page layouts, content hierarchies, and user journeys.
• Collaborate with regional marketers, designers, copywriters, UX, SEO, and web development specialists.
• Apply SEO, GEO, accessibility, metadata, URL management, localization, and internal-linking best practices.
• Use website analytics and SEO insights to identify content opportunities and improve cross-linking.
• Maintain CMS hygiene and governance while proactively communicating technical dependencies, limitations, risks, and changing requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with an enterprise CMS or digital experience platform such as Optimizely, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Contentful, or a similar system.
• Experience building and maintaining complex web pages with reusable components or modular, design-system-based structures.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between content, components, templates, front-end presentation, and web development.
• Ability to discuss requirements, bugs, component behavior, and technical constraints with web developers using appropriate terminology.
• High attention to detail, structured content publishing practices, independence, prioritization skills, and proactive risk communication.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication skills for translating marketing and content requirements into technical implementation.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS.
• UX, UI, or graphic design experience.
• Knowledge of Figma, InVision, Zeplin, or Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms and using data to improve content performance.
