Financial Analyst

Location: Ontario, Canada. Flexible work options are available.

Salary: CAD 48,000–55,000 per year, with eligibility for a bonus or merit program.

What you will do

• Build relationships with the business unit and provide responsive financial support and customer service.
• Complete month-end and quarter-end close processes, including results analysis, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Track and analyze deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and professional services revenue streams.
• Support accurate business-unit forecasting.
• Prepare audit requests and respond to queries during quarterly reviews and interim and year-end audits.
• Lead or support ad hoc projects affecting multiple organizational stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Effective communication skills and comfort working with all levels of management.
• Solution-focused mindset with an interest in improving processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Professional financial designation or progress toward one.
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting, project accounting, or software revenue recognition.
• Positive attitude and passion for continuous learning.
• Ability to manage expectations across multiple stakeholders.
