What you will do

• Design and apply advanced signal-processing techniques to solve complex HF propagation challenges, including signal detection, channel equalization, and geolocation.
• Develop physics-based models and simulations of realistic HF radio propagation environments and system performance.
• Engage directly with customers to understand mission requirements and shape technical solutions for national security needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and multidisciplinary research teams to design, integrate, optimize, and demonhirify.globalate prototype system capabilities.
• Lead and guide researchers in developing innovative signal-processing algorithms for complex systems.
• Support business development and proposal-writing efforts.

Requirements

• <hirify.globalong>Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required for U.S. Government clearance eligibility.hirify.globalong>
• PhD, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• <hirify.globalong>10+ years of experience with relevant physics modeling and processing programs, including developing advanced signal- and data-processing algorithms from mathematical or analytical derivation through system-performance testing and verification.hirify.globalong>
• Experience in at least two of the following: RF signal processing, HF propagation involving heterogeneity, dispersion, and anisotropy, adaptive signal processing, algorithm development, system modeling and simulation, or geolocation.
• Proficiency in one or more scientific or mathematical programming languages, such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
• Ability to develop and tailor technical briefs for subcontractors, senior executives, and customers.

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Leadership experience in complex research, development, and engineering efforts.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with HF propagation modes, underlying propagation physics, end-to-end signal-processing chains, and RF frontend analysis.
• Experience interacting with decision-makers and customers to translate mission needs into end-to-end solutions.
• Ability to apply novel, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches to challenging engineering problems.
