Data Scientist (Ad Intelligence)

What you will do

• Build models and algorithms that estimate advertising intelligence metrics, advertiser spending, and audience reach across the web.
• Translate business logic into model assumptions, features, and validation rules.
• Design, evaluate, and productionize machine learning models and statistical algorithms.
• Own work end-to-end, from exploration and proof of concept through research, model selection, evaluation, and production implementation.
• Collaborate with data analysts to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Document and communicate model assumptions, limitations, and the meaning of reported metrics.

Requirements

• MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience building and deploying machine learning models or statistical algorithms in production.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with modern machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with PySpark or the ability and willingness to learn it quickly; existing solutions run on Spark.
• Experience with big data in a cloud environment is advantageous; Databricks is used daily.
• Analytical and strategic thinking, ownership, collaboration, pragmatism, and comfort using AI coding tools such as Claude or Cursor.
