Experienced AI/ML Researcher (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague

Salary: From €3,000 gross per month, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary paid twice per year.

hirify.global develops cybersecurity products and technologies for detecting malicious activity and handling security incidents.

What you will do

• Prepare and process behavioral data for machine learning models that detect malicious activity.
• Build, prototype, and evaluate models using in-house GPU servers.
• Iterate on model architectures and features until they reach production quality.
• Deploy models and integrate them with detection and incident-handling pipelines.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize deployed models throughout their lifecycle, including drift detection, retraining, and performance tuning.
• Explore novel machine learning architectures when relevant opportunities arise.

Requirements

• Practical understanding of modern AI and machine learning methods, including model selection and production optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and its AI/ML ecosystem.
• Experience with AI/ML lifecycle tooling, production model serving, and lifecycle management infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and own model development from start to finish.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying current with state-of-the-art research.

Nice to have

• University degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of computer and network security.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and AWS.
