Senior Sustainment Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Location: 100% onsite at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; remote and hybrid work are not available. Standard working hours. Travel is less than 10%.

Basic compensation: $139,000–$174,000 per year in Colorado Springs, CO.

What you will do

• Lead the MILSATCOM Applications Development team and manage a diverse software development staff.
• Architect, design, and implement web-based applications supporting MILSATCOM, NC3, and sustaining engineering processes.
• Translate government and systems engineering requirements into technical solutions with limited direction.
• Provide technical consultation, customer support, software demonstrations, and end-user training.
• Coordinate workflows with military, civilian, contractor, and program stakeholders while resolving issues and blockers.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports and make decisions affecting deliverables and staffing.

Requirements

• DoW SECRET clearance with the ability to attain TS/SCI clearance.
• 15+ years of IT experience with team lead or supervisory experience and a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience with C# and .NET Core 8.0 or greater, object-oriented programming, Blazor Server, web architecture, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and IIS configuration.
• Experience with SQL database design and maintenance, cloud-deployed web applications, DevOps servers, networks, and CAC certificate authorization.
• Ability to manage professional relationships with DoW military and civilian clients and communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through presentations.
• Experience designing Jira issue screens and workflows and Confluence repositories.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DoW operations and workflow processes.
• Knowledge of DoW MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems, terminals, and software applications.
• Experience with MBSE processes, SysML tools, and integrating databases and workflows with Jira and Confluence.
