What you will do

• Act as design authority for the system level architecture baseline.
• Analyze customer requirements and define architecture options for trade-studies.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver consistent and scalable mission solutions.
• Perform system level trade-offs and manage system performance budgets.
• Manage a supporting team of experts and oversee project performance regarding schedule, cost, and quality.
• Define and verify tool chains for architecture trades.

Requirements

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in system-of-systems architecture design for space projects.
• Professional experience in defense and security systems with knowledge of space sensing (electro-optical).
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
