Senior External Manufacturing Data Analyst (Biotech)

Location: Onsite in East Greenbush, New York, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $67,400–$128,700 annually

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, document processes, and identify opportunities for new capabilities and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards and reports that provide leadership with real-time visibility into external manufacturing performance.
• Analyze capacity, performance, and operational data to support planning, scheduling, strategy, standardization, and service-level improvements.
• Perform root-cause and A3 analyses and lead Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events, including process mapping and direct observation.
• Support implementation projects from requirements gathering and design through testing, validation, and end-user knowledge transfer.
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests, evaluate industry trends, prepare strategy updates, and leverage AI to optimize workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience for the Senior Specialist level; the final level will be determined by experience.
• Solid SQL skills for querying relational databases.
• Expertise in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving, situational analysis, decision-making, and process or operations improvement skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including presenting findings to senior leadership and driving consensus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Previous product management, project management, or project leadership experience.
• Familiarity with IT project management tools.
