Middle/Senior Test Automation Engineer (Ruby + Python + Networking)

What you will do

• Design and implement automated tests in Python and/or Ruby for APIs, backend services, and system-level functionality.
• Own test coverage and quality outcomes while supporting stable releases and reducing delivery risks.
• Perform manual and automated testing, analyze results, investigate failures, and document defects with reproducible steps.
• Troubleshoot networking issues involving connectivity, traffic flow, routing, switching, and network-device behavior.
• Configure and maintain test environments integrated with network devices and supporting tools.
• Integrate and maintain automated test execution in GitLab CI or Jenkins using Docker and Selenoid/Selenium.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in test automation engineering, SDET, or software development focused on automation.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Ruby for building and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with API, backend, and end-to-end testing.
• Practical knowledge of GitLab CI or Jenkins and familiarity with Docker.
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher, plus strong debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

• Practical experience with networking and testing network devices.
• Experience analyzing traffic flow across environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
