Middle Manual QA Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world, or onsite from offices in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw.

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and create, execute, and maintain manual test cases and scenarios.
• Test web and mobile applications, including backend services, client-server architecture, microservices, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Report, verify, and investigate bugs, including root cause and impact analysis.
• Prepare test estimates, progress and summary reports, and collect quality and reliability metrics.
• Collaborate with QA, project, and cross-functional teams in daily meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Recommend improvements to QA procedures, systems, and tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of manual testing experience, including 2 years with web and mobile applications.
• Experience creating and reviewing test documentation, test plans, requirements, specifications, test cases, and scenarios.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, testing metrics, and risk management.
• Experience operating testing environments, checking logs, and performing feature, impact, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of network principles, client-server architecture, and microservices; experience with databases and SQL.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher in speaking and writing is required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Performance testing experience.
