Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; remote work supported

What you will do

• Test the backend of a customer’s cloud contact center as a service (CCaaS) solution.
• Support and improve existing Python-based test automation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and validate defects and new product features.
• Perform backend, API, and microservices testing.
• Assess system stability, scalability, and compatibility with evolving functionality.
• Use log analysis and analytical troubleshooting to investigate issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems.
• Practical experience with MySQL or similar databases and basic UNIX/Linux knowledge.
• Understanding of backend, API, or microservices testing.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or Java scripting experience.
• Basic understanding of OWASP and PCI compliance.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems.
