Software Golang Engineer (Kubernetes) (AI)

Location: Poland, Serbia, Georgia, or Cyprus; hybrid or remote options may be available depending on the role. Work from anywhere in the world is available for up to 45 days per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement Kubernetes-optimized cloud products for AI inference and distributed model training.
• Develop clean, maintainable Go code for Kubernetes controllers, operators, and custom resources.
• Build APIs, CLIs, and developer tools for deploying, managing, and monitoring AI applications.
• Optimize serverless container workflows, including cold starts, resource-efficient scaling, and workload isolation.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and security while addressing GPU scheduling, job orchestration, and data throughput.
• Track Kubernetes ecosystem advancements and contribute to product roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go and professional experience developing with Kubernetes.
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers and operators, working with Kubernetes APIs and custom resources.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, resource management, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Docker and Helm.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to work from Poland, Serbia, Georgia, or Cyprus for this role.

Nice to have

• Python programming experience.
• Experience developing AI/ML pipelines or integrating TensorFlow or PyTorch with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of GPU scheduling and optimization in Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Kubernetes security, RBAC, and container security.
• Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects or cloud-native communities.
